Pre 1985 Rem 870 forend tube assembly
Mine broke and I can't seem to find a replacement anywhere. Not sure what all is involved in converting it to the newer version. Any advice or feedback would be much appreciated.

Re: Pre 1985 Rem 870 forend tube assembly
Thanks Andy. I was starting to think I needed to convert to the newer model. I didn't realize it would be as simple as buying a new slide assembly also. I have seen some reference to this since I made my original post. Appreciate your efforts and help.
Come to think of it, I have a Dremel and air compressor with a grinder tool. I may just try that and save a little.
