That entire scene scene made no sense. If they already had them surrounded, why would the "governor" drive into the middle of them to kick off the ambush with a risky draw, on a group of armed men, from the middle of his back? You might be right, and it was probably the CDC episode. Still, they should have at least checked for a pulse (I understand not wanting to check for breathing as it would put your head in a bad spot).
