esxmarkc, you have my admiration for your calm and reasonable response. And, :iagree:

This post was much longer but nowhere near as calm and reasonable, so I deleted it.

Try to think macro rather than micro.

There are always abberations in data. You can't cherry-pick. Just because you had a relative that smoked until they turned 90 doesn't mean that tobacco isn't bad for you.

97-98% of the REAL scientists that study climate think that the earth is getting warmer and that the science is settled. If you went to 100 doctors and 98 of them said that you have cancer and 2 of them said, "Nah, you're good to go" , what would you do? I don't know about you, but I'd take the chemo.

You're always going to be able to find an echo chamber blog somewhere that will support your misconceptions. But, quoting Neal DeGrasse Tyson, "The good thing about science is that it's true whether or not you believe in it. "

Here's a couple to start you out.

If the 98 doctors were basing their opinion on intentionally falsified information then I would lend credence to the two who weren't.
We know that temperature readings were falsified for decades in order to support the theory of global warming.

Here are some of the ways we are lied to.

I don't believe in global warming, now known as climate change. I do believe in global control. Not that it is right, just that it is happening.

Who needs "Chattel Slavery" when you can steal labor with a new "carbon tax" for existing.

I believe if one is overly concerned with global warming and his carbon footprint, one should log into this website below, set up an account, and start being accountable. Personally, I choose to live off the backs of responsible carbon off-setters and spend all my money on food, guns and ammunition. It feels good to finally be an irresponsible human on the doll. Those freezing Eskimos can personally thank me someday.

So-called man made climate change is snake oil hyped as a warning for the rest of us to comply with whatever the snake oil salesman says we should do. We're all SOOOO guilty.

(Ask the AlGore about HIS carbon foot print while he chastises the rest of the world about theirs.)

Yes, a sucker is born every minute, but if believing in this fraud makes you feel warm and fuzzy, step right up brother, the climate change congregation awaits you.

P.S. Don't forget to put lots of moola in the collection plate (because you're going to whether you want to or not) and feel free to feel very guilty about your 'carbon foot print'. It'll keep you inspired.

Hallelujah!

I suggest reading Dr. Roy Spencer might lend some food for thought. He certainly makes good points. And his final concluding paragraph is telling.

Give us your scientific evidence that proves it is macro rather than micro.

Again, the problem isn't whether or not climate is changing. Like death and taxes, climate change is one of the things we have always been able to count on. The problem is people trying to pin that on mankind, and then using the accusation as an underpinning for massive social engineering, MOST of which involves three things: 1) loss of employment; 2) increased cost of living; and 3) further losses of personal liberty. Among climatologists who agree that the planet is warming, there is NOT a consensus that it is man-made. That is still very much as yet to be determined. Until it is a proven fact, I am NOT submitting to their bullying. Period.

I'm not having any of that.
