My guess is that the approach in this video would not have worked for the situation in the OP. The LEOs in that video apparently felt that they had PC for a vehicle search or weren't worried about PC at all. The LEO in this video is staying within the boundaries of the law as I'm sure most officers do. When you get someone as out of control as in the OP, all bets are off.

I sent Mr. Schulman the following letter.
It's amazing to me that someone with legal training and a knowledge of the Constitution can make such ignorant comments about gun ownership. Law abiding citizens who are gun owners licensed to carry are not a threat to you, your city or anyone else.
In Texas, concealed weapon carriers have a better record than law enforcement and members of the legislature. We are orders of magnitude less likely to commit a crime than the average citizen.
Watch the video of your officer's unprofessional and illegal behavior. The driver, who carried a weapon and a permit to carry it, was polite, courteous and represented no threat whatsoever to the officers at any time.
It's time the members of the legal profession either gain an understanding of the Constitution or be disbarred and never allowed to represent anyone again. You demonstrate an appalling ignorance of our basic rights.

Wow! "Blood in the streets!" Who'da thought when they used that term, they were referring to the Canton PD executing civilians?
Amazing! To him, the problem isn't the out-of-control officer, it the guy legally carrying. Just amazing!

This link explains it all:
Allen Schulman named Stark County Democrat of the Year
And, all of those areas where he doesn't want guns are the exact place a citizen who can legally carry needs to!

Man, they are more advanced in OH regarding CCW than here in TX. According to Mr. Schulman you can carry in universities, schools and bars.

In some areas they might be, but I bet it is much easier for a business to restrict carry than it is here. And many states restrict carry in government buildings and city property.

He did it before. This one was illegal posession (but he had to "scootch the seat forward" before the gun was visible), but he went just as nutso. It got even crazier after other units responded.
