I am guessing they signed a non-disclosure agreement and that is why everyone is mum on the amount of the settlement.

The press is irresponsible and misleading with headlines like "Sandmann Settles 250 Million Dollar Lawsuit" and similar headlines. Settlements are generally for far less than the original asking price.

Regardless of the amount of settlement I am happy that Sandmann received what is probably a "nice" amount.

Am very glad the leftist press paid for their lying spins and narratives along the lines of "Racist white Maga hat kids intimidate noble Indian." Maybe it will teach the press a lesson on responsible reporting but I doubt it.

That’s why they are settling out of court. No public record. NDA signed to keep everything secret. I’m no expert on defamation lawsuits, but evidently, the case is pretty strong, and the media intentionally lied. I’m glad the young man is getting his just rewards. Hopefully more people will follow suit. Gen. Flynn, Roger Stone, etc.

I don't know that I'd say they were. They don't have much to go on and that is what Sandman's lawsuit was for. If anything they are probably being a little more careful now, which should be a good thing.

A federal court ruled Thursday that a multitude of lawsuits filed by Nicolas Sandmann against several media outlets can proceed.

U.S. District Judge William Bertelsman of the Eastern District of Kentucky denied motions to dismiss Sandmann’s cases against The New York Times, ABC, CBS, and Rolling Stone magazine, his lawyer, Lin Wood, announced online.
