Wow. One of the elusive NY carry permits. Are they really as hard to come by as is rumored?

Like many, I've been reading for months without joining the forum. I'm not so stuck on my opinions that I feel the need to share them too often but I might have something to add at some point. Got my CHL recently.

I'm married - no kids (just dogs) - self employed. Thus far, I just have a Bersa .380 and a Kel Tec .32 but I am "in the market" for a .45.

Hello all, I've been a long time lurker and finally decided to register and introduce myself. I'm a 21 year old (22 this monday!) male. I'm going to be a senior in college here in Dallas next year, then its off to the real world... I've had my CHL for several months now and it was one of the smartest things I have ever done. I carry either a sig 239 in .40, or now that its getting a little warmer, a colt mustang that just joined the family last week. I feel like I have learned more here on this website than I did when I took the CHL class and I'm excited to start participating; ya'll seem like great people!
