YEA!!! Background Check went green in only 4 days including weekends! But still says Manufacturing Pending.. Shouldnt be much longer now

Weird. My Background check finally went to Green this morning after 49 days. But my fingerprints still show as pending. The DPS guy on the phone said don't worry they're printing.

I really wish that Fingerprint would go green on the site so I can feel better that some tech is not going to stop my plastic in the mail room!

woo hoo they are working on my app again. they received it on march 9th. had a issue with the DD214 i sent them faxed new copy and after 3 weeks of no activity final shows it being processed again

4/20 Manufacturing! ...and yes my Fingerprints still show Under Review... Please don't let that hang things up again!

3.19 - Renewal Class/Online app Started
3.21 - Mailed CHL-100P Using Standard USPS
3.23 - DPS Records Indicated app was received(only available after entered in the system)
4.19 - Application entered into system/background check under review

Mailed mine 3/28, but no sign of movement yet. Based on the posts in this thread, I guess it will be another 5-7 days to see something.

Quick question. I did all my stuff electronically, so I have no idea what the affadavits are for...can someone clarify>

Your affadavits were apart of your online application. Nothing to worry about if you did the DPS application online.

Well, I thought my background check would have gone green by now, but no such luck. I've tried calling DPS a couple times this week, but wasn't able to stay on hold long enough to get through. I then sent an online, e-mail type inquiry, but DPS called when I was out and just said to "allow 60 days for processing" in their message.

Funny thing is, I figured there would be no problem getting the license before a vacation/trip to Florida next month, but now it seems unlikely. I went ahead and called a Florida regional office where you can schedule an appointment to submit for a CW/F license and got right through. I made an appointment and will apply for the FL CW/F license when I get to Florida. The wait time when making an appointment is supposed to only be a couple weeks, so I might even have the FL license in hand before I drive back home.

Your affadavits were apart of your online application. Nothing to worry about if you did the DPS application online.

I guess, more specifically, what are the affadavits used for? Who are they sent to, or how are they used.

They basically state that you have been truthful in your answers, so if something happens later, when they realize that you were not truthful, you would lose your license for failure to answer correctly, or possibly it could be used for perjury (probably a stretch here though)

BG Check flipped to green today. Was only 7 business days from the time my online status was updated. Hope to have plastic in hand by next week.
