Man and woman killed by Deputy after they failed to stop for a routine traffic stop and then later fired on the officer and a shoot out occurred. Deputy was wounded, but it is not life threatening. Brazoria County.
Never good when the dead woman’s file photo is in an orange jump suit.

Grandmother attacked by a pack of dogs fighting them off with an umbrella when ( we assume the owner of the dogs ) punched her in the face.
Most of the commenters seem to want a .45 to the head for this guy.

TV court Bailiff murders his wife.
The gun accidentally went off during an argument with his wife.
Extra points to the defense attorney for imagination.
Oh it’s Mike DeGeurin. He is Dick DeGeurin’s son. He defended Tom DeLay, Allen Stanford, David Koresh and Robert Durst. Robert Durst if you remember was found not guilty of murdering his neighbor after small pieces of him wrapped in plastic bags started floating up on the beach in Galveston. Jury believed it was an accidental death. Enron’s Tom Delay was never found guilty either. Allen Stanford was not so lucky.
Bailiff was on Christina’s Court in 1998.

Indicted for injury to a child and failure to provide medical attention. Don’t feel they can prove intentional.
So no capital murder. Life is most they can get. Inmates may upgrade the sentence though.
