So New Zealand hasn’t had a new case of Covid in 102 days.

It just got 4. He had not left the country.

Like I said it’s not going away.

Anti body study show 3 to 4 million people in England have had Covid-19. That would make their death rate look a lot better.

So a few days ago New Zealand was pretty proud of itself. The PM announced that they had been 100 days with no new Covid-19 cases.

No visitors are allowed to their island, so one would think with all the guns outlawed and bought up and no Covid-19 things would be great.

Well a few days later they had 4 cases out of nowhere now 13.

So what to do. Create Covid-19 quarantine facilities (concentration camps), so they can be sure that anyone who has tested positive does not get away and infect someone else.

Doesn't take very long after you get all the guns from the people, that you just get all dogmatic, does it.

Perhaps it is because most of sub-Saharan Africa does not have a lot of mass media feeding the frenzy? Just a thought.

This may seem really off the wall weird, but it might be possible that it's because sub-Saharan Africans have a minuscule amount of Neanderthal DNA, from 0 to 0.3% of their genome, while all populations outside Africa show between 1.5% to 2.1% Neanderthal DNA. People descended from European and Eurasian populations typically have a higher amount of Neanderthal DNA; the area that is now Europe was the primary ranging area of the Neanderthal.

Researchers from the Max Planck Institute in Germany and The Okinawa Institute of Science and Technology jointly published a paper last month describing detection of a very small segment of DNA on chromosome 3, traceable to the Neanderthal and comprising only six genes, as a possible contributing factor to why some people display very mild or no symptoms while others become seriously ill. Africa isn't able to do widespread testing, and people in a third-world region who contract COVID-19 but are asymptomatic I'd think would never seek out a clinic for testing. They'd be more worried about clean water for the day than a sniffle when they first wake up in morning.

There you go trying for real science instead of sarcastic observations of society. You may have a real point there, and it makes sense to me. But it does take some of the fun out of things.

Well, if it's real--and I ain't sayin' it is; I have no idea--at least it wouldn't take the fun out of it for the sub-Saharan Africans. "What you call global pandemic, we call seasonal allergy."
