This weekend makes 35 days for me. Hoping for an update this weekend.
here is my timeline:
1/29-application submitted
3/2- class and fingerprints complete
3/4- mailed documents and been waiting since.

I'm on a similar timeline and still waiting for acknowledgment of receiving my application

2/10 - Application Completed
2/21 - Fingerprinting Completed
3/2 - CHL Course Completed
3/4 - Packet Mailed

Still waiting for receipt of application to be acknowledged. Hopefully it will happen this coming week!

Same here with the early march group.. Mailed my complete packet out on the 1st. Still no update but I sent standard mail so no receipt as to when they got it.

2/14 fingerprinted
3/1ish packet received on website

3/29 manufacturing pending
4/1 Manufacturing

4/5 Rick Perry's office notified that its been over 60 days, and still waiting

4/6 mailed.

another member contacted me that had similar timeline, both ours went to mailed last night. I had checked it pretty late (around 10pm and it still said manufacturing last night) They really are working overtime at DPS.

Almost two months- i'm checking it later today apparently the site is down right now...

Yea!! Just checked this morning at 0600, CHL is in manufacturing pending for both myself and wife . Fingerprints last thing to go in at 2/14/2013, so maybe give them a week to set at DPS, six weeks in BG check. I was going to attempt what someone else did and call Gov. Rick Perry's office, but since I didn't vote for him, it probably would not have helped. Now waiting game for Manuf. and mailing, that's ok, not near as long!!

Well, here's my story: I completed app online, took class, fingerprints and sent all required documents on Feb. 1. Recieved and picked up by DPs on Feb. 5th. My status online finally appeared March 1st with all the usual stuff checked green and was doing background review. I called DPS April 1st (yep, fool's day) and inquired. The lady said backgound check was good and to be patient. I just called this morning and the rep said that I still have 3 weeks to go because it has not been sixty days since they began working on my application packet. I've been reading about folks who turned all their stuff in the same time and even after me and already have their permit in hand. So, I guess I'll just wait.....and wait......and wait...

Yea!!! Status updated to Mailed this morning. Checked it at 6:30 and saw the nice surprise
The manufacturing took longer than expected. I live in the Austin area.. so I hope I get it soon. Good luck to all those waiting and checking status every hour.
68 days from the day DPS received my packet to Mailed!!
