That is indeed a P-47 Thunderbolt. That particular example shows up at most of the airshows in Texas-I have been in the cockpit (Not at an airshow-having an aircraft on the flight line can get you into amazing places.

I have never had a problem at Alliance, KADS or KNFW. I have been "eyed" by a particularly imposing SP but just nodded at. Whether he acknowledged I was carrying or was just acknowledging my ackowledging I guess I'll never know.
