Let me guess. You're getting a degree in drama? ;-)
These days almost all colleges will reject you if you have left another institution because of expulsion or similar instances. So, yea, it may have sounded dramatic, but if I get expelled and cannot get a college degree, it will be bad news.

You have a good point, but I would rather risk rejection at another school than be dead and never have the chance to be rejected in the first place. I wont say on a public forum directly but, I can say that my gun is holstered, secured and within my reach at all times of the day in every place I can get away with concealing it. I was working the day of the Smith County courthouse shootings and saw the wrath of one scumbag with an AK. I took a trip to N.O. and saw those morons go on a rampage only to be held back by soldiers with M4's and M203's at their side. I was also involved with the evacuation of Galveston during the Rita scare and saw the countless number of people throwing stuff at our ambulances as we passed because their car was broken down. Bad things happen at unexpected times, my gun is my insurance and it goes everywhere with me.

After hearing nothing for almost a week, I called the Star and talked with the managing editor who claims she never got my letter. I re-sent the letter to the same email address and she got it while we were still on the phone... Anyway, she said she would be happy to review it and would get back to me.

Again, we wait...
