I'm glad you took her to the range. You're not only spending fun quality time with her, but you're giving her a skill that could save her life.

My dad took us to the range when we were all little ones. My youngest sister shoots much better than I do, and doesn't practice nearly as often. She's a little thing (weight still hasn't reached the triple digits), and she handles the 9mm very well--consistent, tight groupings. Dad jokes that he's going to take her prom date to the range & let him watch her shoot.

The NRA & TSRA are a bargain; they're much cheaper than the cold, dead hands experience.
