An update ....
I sincerely appreciate all the prayers and support all of you have given.
It will still be a few weeks before Sue goes back to the kidney doctor, so there's no news there.
However, she is in the process of getting scheduled for her first knee replacement. As part of the prep, she found out yesterday that there may be a heart problem, and she will be going to a cardiologist on 2/27. That puts her knee surgery on hold, which is very frustrating for her. She is in almost constant pain, and just having to reign herself in is tough for her to handle.
I ask you all to keep praying for her.
Thanx,
TraCoun

Lifting you and Sue up in prayer every day. And sympathy for the constant pain she is experiencing.
We look forward to good news after the visit to the cardiologist.

The response from Forum members has been more than gratifying, it's overwhelming. We appreciate everyone's help.
An update:
We saw a cardiologist yesterday, and on the basis of her EKG from last week he said she either has some heart tissue damage or part of her heart is simply not getting enough oxygen. She'll be undergoing a stress test (chemical - her knees won't permit the treadmill) tomorrow, and we should get the results next week.
Thanx,
TraCoun

Y'All,
Sue had a nuclear stress test and ECG done Friday. Yesterday she got a call from the cardiologist's office. The nuclear stress test came back showing NO PROBLEMS with what they called the "outside" of her heart!
We're still waiting on the ECG results, but good news is good news.
I wanted to share this with you all to show that your prayers have had good effect. I/ve been overwhelmed by all the support you have given, and am very thankful!
This is one hurdle cleared, maybe she can get her first knee done fairly soon!
Tnanks again,
TraCoun
