My rack has like a felt strip where the barrels are and also on the bottom where the openings for the frames/grips are. I never considered that it might hold moisture, but I can say I have had it for 4 years and never had any rust problems of any kind. Of course I have some desiccant crystals in the safe that I routinely re-activate in the oven.

For the life of me I cannot remember where I got that rack. It may have been on eBay or it may have come to my attention on another forum.
I will try to remember where I got it and post here if I can remember. I do remember that they came in many sizes (I think mine was a medium or so) and in many finishes.

Well, it appears that the guy I got my stand from is no longer in business.

It was Creighton Enterprises of Gig Harbor, WA. There was a sticker on the back of my stand. I have done a Google and it comes up with several sites that have a link to him but the link is no longer any good and all of those sites have the same link.
