This can be had at Acadamy Sports & Outdoors for about $10.00. They have a single mag version for a couple $ less. It has a velcro cover which has the added benefit of being worn with an IWB and tucked shirt.

for a budget item, and a "grunt work" item (not dress-up), dig around in the used holster/knife sheath bins at the local pawn shops and find a nice nylon (large size) multi-tool (generic description "leatherman") belt sheath. I'll guarantee one can be found to fit most any conventional handgun magazine for $5-6.

I can personally attest to their functionality

Ar-15 pistols can use stripper clips.....
revolvers chambered for semi auto rounds use moon clips....

I will try to find the link later... but I bought a little V shaped pouch that the mag goes into then slips into your pocket and breaks up its print.

I don't know about mags, but I see alot of spare tires being carried around!

anyway, I wear cargo jeans, which have a (I kid you not) perfect sized pocket on the lower "saddle bag" pocket that a mag fits into, with just the base plate sticking out. to the unknowing observer, you can't even tell it's a mag.

I use a Desantis mag-packer in my left front pocket if I do not feel like wearing one on my belt. I have practiced with it a great deal and feel that it offers a good cheap alternative. These can be had for under fifteen bucks.

Seriously though, for a while I carried a spare magazine in my sock. Took a couple days to get used to, but I just never could find a way to sit comfortably with it on my hip. Maybe that'll give you some alternative just in case.
Wait a sec...

They make a generic ramen??? :skep: :blowup
