I have displayed it the 75th Texas DPS Anniversary Shows in Houston and Austin. I keep tring to get up to the Mineola Quitman area just to do a drive through. I understang that Lough has retired and that Delafield had passed away. Any history or pictures would be appreciated.

Hey, at least this was pre-Youtube. ;-) One of my friends recently became a police officer in a small town (his first traffic stop turned out to be the mayor), and he has a dash cam video from another rookie's patrol showing that guy doing pretty much the same thing. It's on youtube somewhere, but I think it is private...so far.

You hear him call in a guy crossing a RR track while the guards were down, see the truck pull over, the cruiser pull over, the young officer hops out and moves up to the pickup...next you see the cruiser creep right into the back of the truck. The next thing you see is the Training Officer coming in from the side to inspect the damage.

About the last thing you see is the guy in the truck getting out with a HUGE grin on his face. And yes, IIRC he got sent off with verbal warning about the crossing guards...
