Too much riff raff allowed to shoot there unsupervised, the last time my wife and i went we took my mother-in-law and we had to leave because of the unsafe manner many of the shooters were acting on the pistol range.

I have never been to the Texas City Range, where is it and do they have a skeet/trap range?

From what I'm hearing, I don't think I'll even go there the first time. Life is messy enough without having to pay money and put up with jerks (nicest think that came to mind). I recently joined PSC and am very pleased with the facilities and the folks I've met. The cost is a bit high but it appears to be worth it. Good facilities, a lot of activities and training when required or desired. I went to the Bayou club a couple of Sundays ago to watch a small bore match I was interested in. My experience there was that it was a very good facility and the shooters I net were very helpful and fun to be around. If I lived closer to one of their ranges, I would definitely join.

I don't go to Clear Creek Gun Range anymore either. Rude people running it, the place looks like a dump. The last time I was there, I walked in the door and nearly got knocked over by a couple of 200 lb. dogs. Texas City's well worth the little extra drive time.

Wow. It has been a few years since I have been there, but I don't recall it being that bad. I never used the pistol range much though.

I go there occasionally. I don't have any issues with it, except when it has rained and I'm going to the rifle range. Gets muddy and its a hassle when you go set your targets. The people that run the office are nice and I have not had any issues with rude or unsafe people.

Because we are a 100% NRA club, as per our Bylaws. If it weren't for the NRA, there would be no PSC, or any other shooting club, nor would we own any guns to shoot.

Chas.

You can opt not to receive extraneous mailings and phone calls.

If you're not willing to back the most influential Second Amendment organization, then accept not being able to join PSC and many other ranges.
