It was great fun. It was good to see you again drw and it good to make a new friend with Mac. We don't have to have a gun deal to meet and eat again.

I forget the exact price, but I believe it was around 300...
I saw one at a gun show last weekend with a 450 dollar price tag.

The price on the LCP is still artificially inflated due to short supply. Wait if you can.
However, some have mentioned Academy stores having them below $300. They appear to sell as fast as they arrive, so you would need to call every day until you find one.
I had early reports of McBride's selling them for $279. Anyone will a low price will likely have a waiting list, so that is also an option.
Some fair minded folks sell them for $300-$325. Others charge up to $400 (the most I had heard until the last post) and flatly tell you that's what it costs if you want one without waiting.
If you wait, then you will find them for less than $300 as soon as supply catches up with demand.

Two things that make the street price for law abiding citizen asle to a law abidig buyer to be worth close to the "New gun price" is no tax & no 4473 if BATF decides in the future to use them for confiscation.
All it will take is one law passed to make it legal for them to inspect those as records.

I bought this from Carlson1 for $325. It was unfired NIB. Still is, actually, but today I hope to remedy that.

Yes, let us know how it shoots. After seeing Carlson's picture, I think I have committed the sin of lust! I want one. Actually, I want one for my wife. I have a S&W 642 for my daily carry.

Sure, it's for the "wife".....(wink).
Just like when someone calls the doctor for something bad......I'm calling for my "friend"......

I actually looked for one at the Bigtown gun show this past weekend. No one had one.
I bought a Walther P22 for some fun shooting.
Still would like a LCP though.

My personal observation is that if you want to find one a show, you need to be there the first day when it opens and do a quick scan of the tables. I can't see them lasting more than an hour.
