Yeah, I edited to make that clear.
Huddle House is a diner. Just think of it as a classier Waffle House, or a cleaner Pitt Grill.
Uhhhh...that sounds kinda' like being a taller pigmy, or a tougher hair dresser

Just so everyone knows in Louisiana it's not really a traveling exemption. They just consider your vehicle an extension of your home. Has been like that for years. Also it does not have to be concealed in your vehicle in LA.

Louisiana got two things right on handguns. Carry in your vehicle, and good old fashioned open carry on your person. Smartest thing former Governor Edwin Edwards ever said when the Legislature was throwing around a bill for concealed carry was if your going to carry a gun, carry it where it can do some good as a deterrent. Course, ol' Guv, he make a lotta mistooks along the way dat he be passin' a bad time for now, but that warn't one of 'em. Here a sample taste of the bayou country as pertains to guns, dated but still meaningful:

I did not know that Louisiana had an explicit "castle doctrine" with respect to vehicles 10 years before Texas. Of course the forecast "blood in the streets" did not flow.
They have also had unlicensed car carry, apparently as long as cars have existed.

Here's some blood running fresh in Louisiana streets. Real Third World stuff:

Police recently arrested three suspects in the Dec., 2007 shooting deaths of two Indian foreign students from India that occurred on the Louisiana State University campus.
