I promice I was not thinking of you. Forgot your uhoh. I did get your personal email. Saved it to my defense file for those who don't think 21 ft. is too close. Long time recovery but fortunate to live over that.

Excuse me Show. That post was for flintknapper. While I was typing my post you sent yours. That made mine fall behind yours. This happens here occasionally. He & I are friends & his uhoh was letting his time get too close & is w/o pistol. The 21 ft is some pictures he sent me of a knife victim. Tough. Have a great day.

Oh, i get it now.

So, i went out to Junction , Texas yesterday and shot off about 100 rounds. My father in law has 300+ acres out there and told me come on by any time, so i did. It was a nice 1.5 hour drive each direction. Had some good deer meat chili to warm us up on a cold day.

Good times!

Show Killer,

You have my thanks for consuming some of the deer around Junction !

That was where I hit a deer while on my Harley back in April of 2003. Deer came over an 8 foot game fence and I just happened to be where she wanted to land.... at 70 miles an hour.

Basically broke the entire right side of my body, airlifted right from the scene to San Antonio. Many surgeries later and recovery still ongoing, I am permenantly disabled.

Guess it's easy to see why I am not too fond of deer anymore......

I highly recommend the Safe Shot class taught by Ft Worth Police Sargent Keith McGuire. Cost is $75 for everything, and is given in down town Ft Worth. Sargent McGuire gives very good insights into do's and don't and with his good sense of humor the class was a lot of fun. He is also a champion marksman.
