Yeah, I was also recalling Op: ACTN while reading this and thinking, Hm, maybe you're just lucky.

+1 on Verizon. I just got off the phone with them, and they managed to increase my channels, and then cut my bill in half.

ahthankyou.

Apparently, you have forgotten the amazing tale of "Operation Air Condition the Neighborhood"
Enjoy.
too funny you remembered that. there are definitely some parallels there though.

That and the tale of the BBQ Pit bandit among others are on my blog for further amusement. http://bigcitydruid.blogspot.com (warning, it's fairly clean but I don't abide by the 10 year old daughter rule strictly speaking)
Oof. I just took up about 2 hours of my afternoon reading a bunch of your blog entries and watching youtube videos. Thanks for the link.

I just canceled my TVMAX service, their new digital cable is garbage, it wouldnt even work 80% of the time, it would just be a black screen on all my pay channels. After weeks trying to get a cable guy out and re-programing the boxes, I just decided to call it quits, I don't watch it enough anyways. Plus, the last time I called to speak with someone they were EXTREMELY rude and unhelpful, it was one of those people you want to choke through the phone  .

oh yeah, forgot to update you guys.

the History channel thing is now resolved. They finally confirmed they dropped it from our lineup but now we're missing channel 2 which is one of our local channels.

I'm not even going down the road with these guys again. we're swapping over to comcast as soon as it's available.
