I would feel better about that if I thought that Obama really believed the Constitution says what it says. He doesn't seem to believe that it does when it comes to matters concerning the 2nd - witness his opinion that Heller was wrongly decided and his ensuing statement that he believes local governments may restrict the 2nd. Neither does he believe what the 1st says - witness his campaign's several attempts to have the FEC haul John McCain into court for his insistence that Obama's long time associations with radicals and terrorists bore looking at. So I don't believe for a New York minute that Obama gives a rip about Article I, section 9 of the U.S. Constitution, unless it can be used to justify his intention to disarm Americans. In THAT case, he'd be all about Article I, section 9 of the U.S. Constitution.
