The quicker you neutralize the threat, the less shot you get.

I agree but I stand by my statement. Pulling the trigger in haste just for the fact you pulled it fast does not guarantee neutralization. You want to be sure your target is firmly acquired in the front site. A slightly slower direct hit is better than a fast miss.
