In a OWB holster, I carry (not at the same time) a:
S&W 638 Revolver
Sig P 230
XD 9 SC
X9 .45 Service
under an over shirt or untucked large (Shamu size) tee shirt and no one but me and maybe Mrs. Oldgringo knows. The Sig is a great CCW, BTW.
The Sig and S&W fit nicely into pocket holsters for more formal occassions; e.g., church, funerals, bar mitzvahs, etc.

The nice thing about the Kahrs being single-stacked is that you might not have to modify your clothing for IWB carry. I can wear my CW9 or PM9 with just about anything (shorts, jeans, etc.), and if you get the rake just right, you will forget you're even carrying.

How about a smithy 3913, single stack 9mm, bobbed hammer(so DA/SA).

I have two pistols I carry. I am a minister and must be discreet while carrying at the church. I carry a Bersa .380 CC everyday in a High Noon tuckable. The holster is actually sized for a larger pistol, but the Bersa carries well in it.
If I am going to be wearing a jacket all day, am in casual attire, or am going "downtown" I carry a Sig Pro in the same holster. Positioned about 4:30 it will conceal the full sized Sig quite nicely.
It really is a matter of deciding what to carry and what gives you confidence, then dressing around it.

A 1911 style pistol is going to be the thinnest and easiest to conceal, even in full size mode. And you will have full size firepower. The Kahrs are nice but overpriced IMO. You can get a nice 1911 for the same or slightly more money.
You could always look at the Para PDA in either 9mm or 45ACP if you're not comfortable carrying a 1911 in condition 1.
My next carry piece purchase will be a Dan Wesson Commander Bobtail in 10mm.

Thats funny I always thought of the 1911s as a little overpriced and some of them way over priced.
1911s are just to heavy for me to carry IWB all day long.

I carry a 1911 and 2 spare mags 14 hours a day with no problem. I have also carried a Glock 21 with a spare mag all day with no problem. Maybe you should re-evaluate your IWB rig if you have problems carrying a 1911 for extended periods.

To each there own, I'm fine with what I got it works for me, as yours does for you.
