Why not buy just one gun, and then rob people for theirs?

I use my quarterly reimbursement from my employer. They reimburse certain expenses such as mileage. That's my playing money.

They might hand in over pointy end first!
Regular job pays for the regular stuff, extra jobs pay for extra stuff. Surprizes for the wife or kids, a little something for me. Pocket change goes in a bucket at the end of the day, when it's heavy I trade it for folding money. Spare tens and twentys get folded and stashed in a different part of my wallet until it's $100 or so then moves to the hidey-hole until there's plenty for whatever is on the wish list. Realoding setup is next, probably a Lee Classic Turret, but I don't have time to set everything up right now so I'm watching for a deal that's too good to pass up. If it doesn't pop up by new years I'll probably place an order.
Enjoy!

Yep. When I decided on my Kimber, I got a PT job at WallyWorld (yeah I know, but I really wanted one) and saved some of the money every week and bought it. Then, I wanted more and got a big water jug. Every day, Id empty my pockets and whatever was in them went into the jar. I still do it. Takes about six months to fill it, but the wife doesnt know about it yet (hopefully she doesnt read this) and every six months or so I get to go shopping.
I have done the 12 months free financing at Carter Country, but if you do that, make sure you get the balance to zero in 12 months or the interest on the entire amount will be added to the bill.

Hah. That reminds me of something friend (who has quite a collection) told me once...
If the government ever came for his guns, he'd give them the bullets first.
Back on the topic at hand, I simply plan ahead and budget a couple of months beforehand so that my checking account is up the amount I have earmarked above expenses and the normal buffer.
Then again, I don't buy guns all that often.
