Yeah, that's what I'm thinking too. I've been using winchester 380 auto 95 gr. It's getting to the point where you have to use what you can find here. Went to bass pro shop yesterday to pick up some ammo and they were sold out of 380. About all they had there was 9mm and 45. They did have 40s&w but only in the value pack of 250 rounds. I did find some 380 at academy later though.

Is that the Winchester wadcutters?

I have found those to be the best-feeding .380s, in my limited experience. I don't know why. Hollowpoints and Blazers seem to have more problems.

You have to special-order this caliber and pay through the nose. It's as bad as .357 Magnum, which is a lot more fun to shoot, IMO.

All that I've shot through it so far has been 380 target. I have a couple of boxes of hollowpoints but haven't use any of those yet. I read on another site where the guy said he had a couple of FTF in the first 100 rounds but is at 500 rounds now without any more problems. I guess that will be the same for me too.

For anyone that is wanting one of these, I was at the Bullet Trap in Plano yesterday and they have some in stock. Just under $500 for price.

They must be really good guns for that price.

The problem is with a new design, it takes a while for holster manufacturers to get caught up. If they decide to mass produce for a particular pistol at all. You notice even on the web site that a factory holster was "coming soon".
I'd love to shoot one but I'll stick with the P3AT and my multiple holsters (ankle, hip and pocket. yes, I use them all) for now.

I bought a De Santis pocket holster that was marked for a LCP for my Micro Desert Eagle. It fits perfect. The size of the Micro Desert Eagle and the LCP are very close.

That does look pretty cool, especially the micro. Does not look light, but hopefully would not beat your hand up too bad.

I'm pretty interested in this gun. I was at a job shop show last week and the shop that makes parts for Magnum Research was exhibiting there. They had quite a few samples out, saw lots of parts both internal/external, for the Micro, the BFR, Desert Eagle, etc. The shop is located in MN - and they manufacture a large chunk of the parts for these guns. I was impressed with the manufacturing. As luck would have it, they had a Magnum research brochure (full line). I ran across a few of the Micros at the Ft. Worth Gun Show last weekend, pricing was $499-535 from what I recall.

Still lovin mine.

I'm confused. This thread is about the Micro Desert Eagle .380 ACP (granted, .380 is the same diameter as 9 mm).

Any particular pistol in a certain caliber can be more powerful than another due to the action (locked breech versus blowback) and barrel length.

You know, I like .380s.

At last count I have about 14 of them, including a P3T and and LCP.

Figured I'd have to have that Kahr when it came out.

But then I bought a Colt Mustang Pocketlite a couple months ago, and liked it best of all.
It's accurate, has real sights, and it doesn't hurt my hand.
In fact i have another one coming this week.
Then Sig announced the P238 at theSHOT show. It's a Sig-ized Mustang for the 21st century.
And it's about the same price as that Kahr.

So I'll have to have that next month.
I think my tupperware days are numbered.
