I am so glad someone mentioned the PPS. I was initially intrigued by this weapon, but pushed it out of my mind because at the time it was brand new (growing pains, availability, price). Now that time has passed and they are a little more available i think that would be the perfect summer carry. I love my Walther P99. We will see what happens after I get some money back from the tax man.

Glock 27 (.40) is 10+1, with a Clipdraw you don't even need a holster. I wear it in my swimsuit while watching the kids at the Lifetime pool. Very comfy!

Right now my Spring/Summer/Fall/Winter carry is a CZ 2075 RAMI in .40SW, in a Kangaroo.
The Kangaroo is a cotton-canvass-cloth under-the-arm belly-band Hybrid.

The canvass cloth is nice in the summer, and I can wear light-weight hawaiian type shirts. Don't have to worry about "tuckable" or "non-tuckable" since this doesn't reside on my hip.
Since you have chosen a CZ-P01 as your other weapon, consider the CZ RAMI-P (Polymer) 9mm. It is a bit smaller than the P01.
I can wear this thing all year around and never get uncomfortable, and don't have to deal with getting poke in the ribs or hip every time I sit down.

I was taught that the desert is too hot and dry to grow a second "s". haha.
On topic. . . I have nothing to offer, but am following this thread with personal interest.

Considering the street price, I would suggest dropping another $50 and getting a Kahr CW9 instead. The Kahr is just a much nicer pistol and is almost the identical size & weight. There is no comparing the triggers, and Kahr has a much better reputation for out of the box quality, although Kel-Tec is well known for customer service and getting it right *eventually*.
