it is quite fun playing with an unloaded 30-30 and pretending to be the rifleman!
I picked up a great HD shotgun for $140 from a forum member here. I am sure that you can find a similar deal. Plus, practicing with it on the trap is great! I got some funny looks from guys with $3000 O/U guns at the next trap. I guess loading the gun with 7 rounds of birdshot, plus 5 on the stock is frowned upon.
