Most of that body language may be due to Mexican carry in the waistband. It should be less pronounced with a good holster. But most of those types won't spend the extra money.

Atxgun - That's for the post. None of the people is the pictures are wearing a fanny pack. Maybe there are just too many tourists in NY to make them stand out.

I like that idea. I think you could make some money off of those!

Serious leather concealment vests... http://www.coronadoleather.com/browse.aspx?c=7&n=442393" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
I think one or two in buffalo would last the rest of my life.

Is a moving motor vehicle enough reason to stop someone and ask for id?

Styles that don't match made me laugh. I don't dress well anyway!

My wife has always encouraged me to wear an undershirt with an untucked button down over it. She now loves that I wear a gun around because I look nicer! :tiphat: I always laugh when she says how nice I look because she usually doesn't know that I am concealing a full-sized hi-power! :lol:

At the risk of sounding like a wiseacre, ignore the flashing lights and I'm quite sure that your question will be answered. LEO's can always cite 'probable cause'. ["May I see your insurance papers, sir?"] Once stopped, be courteous, show the appropriate ID and/or other papers and let your Dale Carneghie training come into play. If you're okay, you're okay.

So are they saying that I can't wear my bermuda shorts (pocket pistol) and denim jacket (shoulder holster) with my white socks (ankle holster) and my sandals at the same time?

I guess I phrased my question wrong. I meant if the cops thought we are carrying, would that be a reason to draw on us. I thought of the recent San Fransisco shooting where the cop accidentally killed that man.

I disagree. They *can* but we should resist this degradation in our rights. And the example of "May I see your insurance papers, sir?" does not apply. If they pulled you over to check your insurance without making up some other trivial violation, they would be in error and I believe could be pursued, though of course it wouldn't be worth it financially or time-wise. But that's similar to coming and kicking your door in and saying, "Might you have any illegal drugs here, sir?" Lot of wars fought to prevent this kind of stuff and we shouldn't put up with it.

After all that high & mighty, let me say that I've never had a license plate light on my truck, so I give every LEO free reign to pull me over anytime they want (well at least at night). Guess I need to get that fixed, huh? There's always something though. Kind of like being in the military or the A&M Corps of Cadets or whatever: if you make enough rules, you can be sure that every person is always breaking at least one and therefore, you can bust out on anyone, anytime, legally. Good system if you're the buster vs. being the bustee. IMHO, YMMV, etc.

What revolvers have weighted grips? Maybe they should have used the standard Beretta pic.

People see me coming, and you see them scatter, looking for their cars, fumbling around with their waistbelts, pulling up pants etc etc etc...

Can you spot the hidden gun? I rode like this for about 20 miles from a gun show and didn't get stopped, but got a lot of looks. Only in Texas.
