LOL.... I negotiated with the current owner and I am also getting a new Zero Turn John Deere riding mower with the deal...But I can assure you , it will be a labor of love! I love cutting my grass and never even had a riding mower
Thanks for the well wishes, once we get settled in we'll have all of you south siders over for a cook out!

Nothing better than riding around the yard on a riding mower with a cold beer on Saturday afternoon. Best money O ever spent...

All I can say is WOW!!! What a great house, no,
home. We are planning to move to E. Texas. If we find something like that we will buy even if our present home is not sold. We have looked at a few dogs, raised our price and will be looking again soon.
Since they are rooting out the good outdoor ranges here, we figured we could move into a little higher priced home just on the savings on gun range fees.
Our present home should sell in $230,000.00 range and we will down size to around $135k to $150K.

I'm guessing the house is pretty close to Haak Winery too?
A & R gun range is the League City range. Rifle range is okay. Handgun range is at your own risk

Call me sometime and I will give you the poop on the League City range. Do you have any level III body armor and the ability to be insulted without ruining your day?? If so....go ahead and visit. Enjoy the shoot

Kinney...the dates you are going to be out of town are the exact dates we will be moving...Most likely I will hire movers though...I do appreciate your offer though!

jbenat...we downsized as well but our downsizing ended up costing more $$$

They have wine tasting and events on Sunday afternoon/evening...
My wife really enjoys it, and their wines are some of the better Texas wines.
Only bad part is that they are posted as 51%

SHOULD they be 51% posted? Is most of there business for ON PREMISES consumption or do they make most of their revenue selling corked bottles of wine for you to enjoy at home? Either directly from their gift shop or one of the other retail outlest.

Not really sure. Seemed questionable to me, but I never got around to getting the TABC to look into it.
