. Does anybody with an idea as to how to fix the prob? I have put about 250 rounds of Blazer ammo thru it so far, so I am fairly sure that it has been broken in.
Thanks for the help,

I have a friend who owns a Sig Mosquito who has similar issues with feeding and slide lock. I don't think it's a "break in issue," but rather a design issue with Sig Sauer. Please read the magazine adjustment link

I have found that changing the spring doesn't help. The Mosquito is still an unreliable Sig.

It's hard to believe that SigArms manufactures such an unreliable gun.

+1, the main reason I purchased the mosquito is because of the outstanding reliability that I have had with my 229, 1200+ rouds of different loads and not one problem, everytime there has been a round in the chamber and I have pulled the trigger it has gone bang. I cant say enough good things about 229. I too am disappointed in the performance of the mosquito as it relates to operational reliability.

Thanks for the info WildBill, I am probably going to call sig and see if they have a fix for this problem, I haven't had any dealings with the cust svc dept yet, hopefully it will be a good experience. I will update with any info from Sig.
Update: Just spoke with sig cust svc. they are going to have me send the gun in so that one of their gun smiths can take a look at it. they quoted me 4-5 wks turn around time. I can deal with this as it is not my ccw.

I bought some Federal .22 and I am going to run a box of that through it. If still no change I too will be calling Sig.
