Speaking of the Houston Zoo, my son will be having a field trip there next month. My wife and I will be attending as well. My question is, eventhough we're going because of the school fieldtrip we are not allowed to ride on the school bus and we have to pay our own way, soooo would I be able to carry? What do y'all think?

Charles has stated an opinion that in order to be prohibited, a school event must be on school property.
