If a significant number of Texas LE won't help them, how many would help us?
One riot, one ranger, anyone?

One way for a government to stack the odds in their favor is to use units from other states to enforce these type of actions. When you don't have a sense of community or identity, it is much easier to carry-out harsh orders without your conscience getting in the way.
When the Soviets did their final push into Germany, the majority of their shock/spearhead units consisted of their Asian troops that spoke neither German or Russian. It is hard to surrender to someone that doesn't speak your language, and even harder to engender any sense of pity with someone that you cannot relate to.
You nailed it!!!
And for the record...I am a Native Born Texan...As are many others here...We are force multipliers...
I don't need bumper stickers to prove anything...

Only if she could be Governess!

She can be MY Governess anytime. And I kind of like her "surly" nature.

They wont send Texans to take Texans guns....that is what the blue helmets are for. Every country on earth hates America and would be falling all over each other to enlist in the new one world UN army, and they will take pleasure in busting down our doors!
I would like to go on the record, also... as a Native Born Texas, and proud of it!

Yes, have seen Jericho, and read Wingman, and some other SciFi books in which Texas seems to stand alone and survive. Even one where the battleship Texas was restored and updated, but I don't remember the title. I think this state would secede before they allowed their freedom, via their guns, taken away. Native born with several generations to boot.

I got here when I was 3 and am now 25, So I claim to be Texan. I know hundreds of Military guys who will defend the constitution against all enemies foreign and domestic. I know I will.
And If I can find a pro gun bumper sticker that is locally, so I do not have to pay $6.00 s&h I will have one on my truck. I am going to get the vinyl letters made to go across my rear window that say "legalize the Constitiution".

The last batch I ordered were sent regular First Class Mail, $1.25 for about five or six different stickers, IIRC. I don't remember where I bought them, though.

If it ever comes to confiscation there will not be law enforcement or military going door to door. It will happen incrementally starting with the EBRs or perhaps semi-auto handguns. You will be expected to drop off the most recently banned item at the local gun shop. The gun shop will receive them or lose their license to sell the still legal firearms. Local truck drivers will take the item to a local business for destruction.
