Carrying a rifle to backup your pistol is smart!

Are you going to leave it on the bike and walk away from it?

My situation has since changed I now ride a 1989 ninja 750R and would still like to carry my AK what I am looking for is if someone knows of a rifle bag/ backpack (as i do need to carry other things as well) that doesn't look like I am caring around a rifle or some sort of scabbard that i can mount that is again discrete and can lock in some way
Any ideas
If you ask for my idea, i go for a carrying a rifle. For a change of your life because as you said that you've been carrying a car or truck same thing for years.

My idea would be to trade (or sell) the AK for an extended tube pistol grip shotgun and a hard case or scabbard. Or, plan 'B', maybe for a hi capacity 9mm or .40 caliber semi auto pistol.

Either of those hand guns would be much easier to conceal, but provide plenty of protection. I keep an 870 in my truck because if it hits the fan, I like to have an edge. A pistol grip would be a bit easier to conceal than the AK, but would still keep the edge factor. The number of available rounds is not as great with a shotgun, but 6 +1 is easily feasible.

Just my .02

I don't own an AK but I would think with a 20 round magazine, it would be terribly difficult to conceal not only lengthwise, but also height wise also.

Not really.

I mean, IWB isn't really an option "rlol" but an AR or AK conceals fine in a bag. Especially an AK with folding stock.

A 20 round magazine wouldn't be a problem?

Mark - real?

Either way follow me on this. You get the above mentioned "Sneaky Bag".
Fabricate fiberglass shell around it - that matches the bike of course.
Mount on side of bike with barrel facing rearwards.
Run string from handlebars to trigger.
On second thought...

BTW, shooting a gun rigged to shoot from within a guitar case is illegal unless you have a AOW permit from the BATF. However, it is legal to store your gun in a guitar case.

Some sort of sports carry bag may work as other's have suggested. When living in an apt, I was concerned about carrying my AR in its usual case-- walking down the hall, across the parking, ect. I'd stash it in a baseball bat carry bag with a Nike logo. It wasnt somthing that was easy to get into quickly, but in my case that wasnt it's purpose.
