The Hooter's in Houston, near highway 249 and FM 1960, has a gunbuster sign, but no 51% sign and no 30.06 sign. I like Bone Daddys.

I thought they mostly served just snck foods like celary and chicken wings which people would were expected to wash down with massive quatities of beer. I've only been a couple of times and only for a couple of minutes ... I never realized people would make a meal of their fare... Then again I eat whole chickens and leave the wings for the catTxFig wrote:Liberty wrote:These places must come real close to 51% .. they serve only snacks and appetizers for food, and serve large quantities of beer. Huh? Not the ones I've been to. I haven't done a scientific survey, but virtually every single person in the building was eating a full meal of some sort. For the last group of people I was with (8 of us), I think alcohol accounted for maybe 10% of our bill. And that is estimating high. They can't possibly be a 51% business.
What are you talking about? Chicken wings, fried pickles, celery stalks, ranch dressing, french fries, ketchup and beer contain the seven essential food groups.Liberty wrote:I thought they mostly served just snck foods like celary and chicken wings which people would were expected to wash down with massive quatities of beer. LOL!! I guess I should consider myself blessed, because my wife actually recommends we go to Hooters sometimes.texasflyfisher wrote:For me the old "don't you dare go in there" stare from the wife tromps any sign they may post anyways.

everyone knows you dont go to hooters for the food, you go for the decor! One Shot wrote:Never have seen a 51% sign at a Hooters--sometimes "no guns" and others "unlicensed posession..."
Maybe people ARE going there for the food, if total revenue for liquor is under 51%
