The Hooter's in Houston, near highway 249 and FM 1960, has a gunbuster sign, but no 51% sign and no 30.06 sign. I like Bone Daddys.

Huh? Not the ones I've been to. I haven't done a scientific survey, but virtually every single person in the building was eating a full meal of some sort. For the last group of people I was with (8 of us), I think alcohol accounted for maybe 10% of our bill. And that is estimating high. They can't possibly be a 51% business.

I thought they mostly served just snck foods like celary and chicken wings which people would were expected to wash down with massive quatities of beer. I've only been a couple of times and only for a couple of minutes ... I never realized people would make a meal of their fare... Then again I eat whole chickens and leave the wings for the cat

What are you talking about? Chicken wings, fried pickles, celery stalks, ranch dressing, french fries, ketchup and beer contain the seven essential food groups.

Same here! The Buffalo Chicken Sandwich is awesome, as are the fried pickles!

As for the scenery, I'm with LittleGun. Bone Daddy's has them all beat!

I 'm fairly new to Texas ( One 1/2 years // CHL 10/08 ) I'm thinking I need to go on down ( Ya' all ) to "Bone Daddy's" and find out how comfortable I'd be with my CHL in force !
Might even open my eyes AND enjoy tha' scenery ! (( I mean, celery sticks and chicken wings ))
I 'm starting to feel more comfortable about ignoring those gun buster signs. They do make you take notice though. So many grey areas.
Gotta be a legal 30:06, 51 % or verbal.
Thanks all ! :thewave

You know what I have yet to understand? Why anyone with a CHL would go into a restaurant that is not properly posted in a way to keep them from carrying and proceed to educate the manager on the proper way to keep us from exercising our rights. No good purpose can be served by educating the proprietor of their improperly posted signs.

For Petes sakes folks, concealed carry is just that..concealed. Nobody is suppose to know you have the darned gun on you to begin with.

Maybe people ARE going there for the food, if total revenue for liquor is under 51%
everyone knows you dont go to hooters for the food, you go for the decor! :reddevil
