Status back to "Processing" today.....I guess now the real waiting games begin. My buddy down the street said "oh, mine took seven months"......... Let's hope it's not like that.

06/27/2009 - Mailed application to DPS
07/23/2009 - Received "Incomplete Application Letter"
07/24/2009 - Sent Updated Info Back to Austin
07/31/2009 - Back to "Processing"
XX/XX/2009 - Application Approved
XX/XX/2009 - Plastic in Hand

I got the letter yesterday telling me info missing on home/employment dates. both are 1997 to present, same house,same employer/location. typed up a letter spelling all that out and attached it to the letter they sent me and mailed it this morning....now for my question :mrgreen: they did not send back my original form to add dates, just told me they needed that info - did they send your originals back to add dates?

Yes, they mailed my original back, and highlighted what they wanted filled out. I had filled out the front of that form, on which you tell them how long you've been at that current residence. That's why I did not fill out the back, but I did so once it was sent back.

well now I am concerned since they just asked for the dates - they did not send my original form

Just a friendly thread bump. Anyone from Fort Bend noticing anything better on background check times? Or, are we right there with the surrounding counties?
