I'll throw in $0.02 more. Use the "gunbuster" sign on the front of the card, keep the back like it is and only give the card to 30.06 establishments.
Walk past the "gunbusters" signs like we all do anyway. When you see a 30.06 sign, give them your card. The 30.06 places will know what you mean. Let the "gunbuster" posters think they are doing something right.
Or if you don't want to hand them out, don't. That should about cover everybody!

Yeah, but which is more inflammatory to a CHL-totin' Baptist???

My main problem is that, by giving them the Gunbusters Card, and saying that they're keeping out CHL's with it, that you're essentially lying to them.
I don't like being a liar, or even telling half-truths, especially if it's to advance an agenda that I'm pushing at the time. If you get called on it, it could make you look worse then when you started.
I don't see it that way at all. Giving them the card with the gunbuster sign on it says you don't appreciate their attitude towards wanting to curtail your rights and plan on not giving them your business as long as they openly display that attitude. It can also say, "No guns, no business" without getting into the legality of how to properly restrict concealed carry. Also, much more visual and to the point than a laborious listing of the 30.06-required notification, which they may not even get through before they lose interest and throw the card away.
If I was gonna carry some, I'd carry the TSRA cards, but wish you well with the others. I personally feel like the liklihood of the card getting to the right person (who can make a decision) is small and I don't make the effort. To each his own. Best of luck.

I have a drawer full of those cards - but for Texas CHL. I bought them off of the TSRA website about a year and a half ago.

Toys R us has the gun buster sign. I actually get a kick out of carrying past it. No way I would tell them the sign isn't going to keep me from carrying. I like them being naive and somewhat stupid. It gives me an edge since we all know a criminal would not dare walk in after seeing that sign.
I wouldn't mind having the cards for the 30.06 signs I see. Although I see very few of them and figure the Post office doesn't care if I take my business elsewhere. I am not sure how many cards I would end up needing. They would look good piled up in my Kitchen junk drawer with all the other cool things I just couldn't live without.

Looks good dicion. What do you think about it just saying "Texas Concealed Handgun License Holder", instead of "Texas State Concealed Handgun License Holder"? Just a thought. thanks for your work!

I agree with SlowDave with the exception about not making the effort. IMO this isn't about weither or not a business posts properly and putting 30.06 in place of the gun buster will not be as effective. You got to remember that the target here are people not very familar with CC and most will have no idea what a 30.06 posting is. The gun buster picture works much better to convey the intent of the message with that being I will not spend my money with your business.
My personal take on companies that post gunbusters signs is that they do not want me there. While I may go there if I want since they do not have a legal 30.06.... why would/should I? I can assure you if I have a choice I will not patronage any business with ANY TYPE of signs telling me I'm not welcome.

The "gunbuster" sign is more easily recognizable and people inherently understand what it means. Putting a rendition of the 30.06 on the card is a bit wordy and not immediately understandable.
The whole point is to make an easily understandable statement with the card. It doesn't matter that "gunbuster" signs have no legal bearing with CHL holders - it's the meaning behind the "gunbuster" sign that we're commenting on.

Alright, that makes sense, you've convinced me
I'll modify it to use the Gunbuster sign

I'll bet they sell those at the gunshow booths.
Agreed on not mentioning 30.06.
I'd leave the graphic and add "We noticed your
30.06 sign and are going to respect your wishes by shopping elsewhere"

Keep it simple for the simpleminded.
The goal is to change attitudes not change signs.
