Just placed an order with TT GunLeather for the Snap Removable Pancake, belt and double mag pouch for my Pro CDP. Now the long wait starts...This is going to be tough. Anybody else placed an order from there?

Yes. It took 5/6 weeks longer to arrive than their quoted 16 week turnaround. It is a nice holster (I ordered the same one as you did) but for the money and for the time I prefer the stuff that I got from Sparks. I ordered the holster in Feb and it arrived 2/3 weeks ago, and so yes you have got a wait on your hands.

I was very pleased that I did not order it online and so I didn't have to pay for it until it was ready to be shipped. Made the wait a little easier.

The good news is that Tim seems like a nice guy and he answers his phone and replies to your emails. I only wish the same could be said for Josh Bulman, but then that is another story.

Yeah, I called and talk to Tim and placed my order by phone. He seems like a very nice person. I wanted to place an order with Milt Sparks but I was afraid I wouldn't make it in the que as he is just taking orders on the first of the month and I'm going to be on vacation at that time. I might try to place an order with Sparks anyway if I can. As far as an arrival date, I'm not expecting to receive the holster before January of next year....Wow

I am using a "CrossBreed" SuperTuck for both my Browning Hi-Powers and Para Ordnance P14-45. IWB very comfortable. I am very short and stocky and even in a lighter fabric button down shirt I don't print.

Yep, I have a supertuck for my xd's and my 1911's and they work great. I run around in shorts and a tee-shirt all the time and they conceal very well. I just wanted to have a nice all leather OWB holster.

Just a little tip for you: last Saturday (August 22nd) I telephoned Craig Chadwick at Lightning Arms in Oregon, so see if he had any Milt Sparks VM-2 for 3" 1911, and he said that he had one in stock.

He took my order over the phone ($125 + $13 shipping). The holster arrived yesterday (August 26th) and I'm wearing it right now. It's the most comfortable holster ever.

To top it off, Craig was extremely nice on the phone.

So, a VM-2 holster and I only waited 4 days.

Lightening arms is run by nice people to be sure, and you did well on the price that you paid. The premium that they charge on the Del Fatti stuff is outrageous, but of course they wouldn't get away with it if folks didn't buy it. There is nothing quite like being in the business of supplying the demanded.
