The Critical Defense is some fantastic ammo but hard to find at he moment. Cabelas has it online for $19.99/box but is backordered. Since you already have some ammo and you have time to wait, I would just go ahead and get some on order.
Another great choice is Double Tap Ammo. They have a 95 grain Gold Dot load that is nasty. About 975fps out of a Kel-Tec. Cor-Bon would probably be another good one although I have no experience shooing them in a mouse gun.

Well I put another 100 rounds (MonarchFMJ) through it again today.
It was flawless
Oh yeah 6 rounds of HS. Great little gun.
My daugther shot it also.. she said it hurt her hand.
She has
named it "Little Bitty"

After I wrote that, I figured someone might object to that phrasing
No ulterior motive, I assure you. I just couldn't remember the model name "P3AT" and was too lazy to look it up .... what I was trying to say was "LCP and that Kel Tec that is nearly identical" ... didn't intend to set off the "Ruger stole the design" arguments.

Not good. I have fired about 120 Fiocche FMJ's now with out a failure.
That was week or so ago. The gun was cleaned and lubed prior to use. This week 15 Golden Sabre's and 50 Fioucche's all cycled perfectly. I really lubed it up good this time.
Cant trust the Golden Sabre's just yet. I will probably switch and test something else.
I had the exact same experience. switched to ball ammo until I get a chance to do more testing.
OTOH, I gout out the P3AT the same day and ran the rest of the Golden Sabre through it with no problems. I even mixed a couple of mags with 3 or 4 different brands/styles, and not failures of any kind.
the two guns are both at under 200 rounds. At this point the Keltec is looking pretty good, though I admit I'm still carrying the Ruger, albeit with FMJ.

Try Buffalo Bore. A little pricey but it works good in the LCP. It is also available.

Have you actually run Buffalo Bore through your LCP? There is a bunch of this stuff just sitting on the shelf at Cabela's in Buda, and I was curious about it. But worried about firing it through my lil LCP. That is some HOT HOT HOT ammo! 1200 fps from a .380?
That's faster than most 9mm defensive ammo, though 288 ft. lbs of energy is slightly less than 9mm.
By comparison, Hornady Critical Defense .380 is 1000 fps and 200 ft. lbs.

I have shot Buffalo Bore in my P3AT. I could not tell any difference in recoil compared to other factory defense loads.

Yes, I have shot a few rounds in my LCP to verify. I shot the flat nose and they chambered just fine. The LCP is already very loud and it does have more recoil than my Glock 19, but I did not noticed much more recoil between the Buffalo Bore and the cheap monark rounds (all I can find). I will not make a habit of shooting the Buffalo Bore for two reasons....it is a very hot round and it is expensive.

I carry Hornady XTP in mine, and have had nothing but beautiful results. Also, I've found the XTP to be superior in its accuracy and consistency.
Hornady's products in general are very well made.

I'll second that. I've been very impressed with everything I've tried from Hornady ... Critical Defense in .380, .38, and now 9mm; TAP in .40 and .223

I just ordered, due in next week, Glasers safety slugs (personal defense Round-PDR).
I will let you know how they shoot when they come in.

I wouldn't carry the Glaser ammo in any of my guns, especially something like a .380. You're unlikely to get adequate penetration on vitals, and even if you do... those are tiny little pellets and aren't likely to do enough damage quickly enough.
High--velocity birdshot boasts the same kind of velocity as the Glaser stuff, and I wouldn't use it for self-defense even in 12ga quantities. I'd really recommend getting a real defense load. We've discussed this topic many times before. Here's just one example:
