this image predates the Obama-Joker. Where were the calls for respect when that was making the rounds?
The Obama-Joker is almost classy and tasteful compared to Doonesbury depictions of "W" (or his father or Quayle or Reagan.) Certainly no paper that still publishes Doonesbury has a leg to stand on if they whine about disrespect for Obama. And that's just one example of many in the mainstream media.
Let's not even get into the anti-war protestors.
