I just received an e-mail back from DPS about the packets.

"The downloadable CHL 100 you can print them yourself, here is the link: http://www.txdps.state.tx.us/forms/index.htm#chls" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;"

"Regarding the packets, will forward your request at our mail outs department. Please allow 30 days for delivery. You also can make your own copies of the material as long as you use yellow paper for the applications."

So, if you already have some packets, you can make copies of them, as long as the application is on yellow paper.

Yeah I got the same from DPS , I ordered extra packetts and got them in less than 2 weeks

I was thinking of having three part NCR forms printed. They would work just like to old TR-100's. Might cost almost as much as well!

Well, I recieved the packets yesterday (Tuesday) from DPS. I asked for 20 and that's what I got!!
It took less than a week. (I sent the e-mail last Thursday)
Not bad at all, considering their reply e-mail said it would take 30 days!!!

If someone would PM me the email address to request the student packets, I would appreciate it. I cant seem to locate it in my records.
