rust prevention - blued guns

someone told me that i should leave it out of the pocket holster during the night
to give the holster and the gun time to dry out .
and just to regularly maintain it .

This is all I do and I'm never without a blued Beretta. My grip screw heads have a touch of rust on them but that's because silly me used the wrong sized screw driver on them and scored the edges a bit.
