Van Jones was/is quite well known by conservatives.
He was being held in reserve.
Now, his sudden "outing" is helping place one of the final nails in the coffin of the federal health care bill.
Hallelujah!

I don't know how much they make, but just look in the mirror and you can see where the money comes from. Oduma is dangerous. He is using Czars to usurp Government procedures that are in place to protect Americans from corrupt politicians.
Oduma is the single biggest threat to democracy this country has ever faced. We are in seriously dark times folks.
You do realize that President Bush had a Czar or two also?

Where any of them communist? How many were tax evaders? How many had extremist radical backgrounds? I bet none of them wanted to turn the country upside down and institute a socialist form of government. One or two hardly extends to the reach of 30+.
Oduma is the problem at hand. We can't jump on a time machine and do anything about Bush. Using Bush as an excuse for allowing Oduma to turn democracy on it's ear is getting old. Even the libs on TV are beginning to tire of it.

Name
1 that was a self proclaimed communist, or thought it was a good idea to put sterilants in the drinking water, or thought they had the authority and right to regulate the income of top business execs.

Bush never appointed cabinet members or advisors with a title of nobility, which in itself, is unconstitutional. Further, these czars don't have to fill-out the standard questionaires and paperwork required for advisors, and they didn't have to have FBI background checks. We know what their titles are, but do we know what they are doing? There is absolutely no oversight of them (except the White House). We don't even know how much they are being paid, yet we are paying them. To compare that to Bush advisors is quite the stretch, but I'll yield that I didn't agree with everything that Bush did either. Bush isn't the litmus test, and I agree with 03Lightningrocks that the excuse "Bush did it" is getting really old.

Just so I'm clear about this. I am no bush fan. Way I see he dropped the ball on a lot of stuff he was elected to follow thru on. But the folks he had around him were only just a bunch of yes men. Nothing like the nutjobs Barry's surronded himself with. These folks are those creepy lookin villans with the overside top hat and long curly mustache who can't seem to get "world domination" off the brain. Have you ever seen the movie V for Vendetta. In the movie things are a bit furher along but its erie how strongly similar the 2 governments seem to run. He's already talked about wanting to start up his on "national police force". The obvious contempt for this country on behalf of Barry and his cronies can't be overlooked anymore.
P.s. If I mispelled "cronies", I'm sorry I'm not a dictionary.

LOL. Geeze, I need to clarify. I don't support communists, or poison-kool-aid drinkers or any of the other bizarre things some folks are spouting off about. What I am saying is that Bush appointed similar individuals with differing titles. I realize this is okay since he was "your guy", and I am not equating those appointees with the Obama-bunch. I am saying that what is being done appointment-wise has precedent and is within the scope of his powers until and unless it is challenged in SCOTUS.

GWB apointed exactly 4 Czars over an 8 year period. This is hardly comparable to Oduma appointing 30+ Czars in 8 months.
Unless someone can tell me something I don't know, none of GWB's (4) Czars were communist radical racists. None of GWB's Czars were tax cheats or Chicago thug radicals bent on destroying democracy.
We can't say this for Oduma's Czars...now can we? Truth is, Oduma is a Radical Left wing politician who comes out in public trying to put forth an image of a moderate while he appoints his leftist pals to do the dirty work under the radar. I think most people see through his charade. Only the most ardent of Koolaid drinkers are still believing his lies while ignoring the obvious truths.

Purplehood, I'm not trying to cut you off at the knees. While I voted for W2, I had many beefs with some of his actions, or lack therof. I supported several of the things he did too. I wouldn't go so far as to claim him as "my guy" either. He was much closer to the center of the pendulum swing for my taste, but he was certainly a far better choice than Gore or Edwards! But what gets me worked-up is when I hear Obama's actions being defended with the "well W did it" excuse. As I said before...Bush isn't a litmus test for what's right and wrong. We need to distance ourselves from that mindset. Wrong is wrong, no matter who does it.
I guarantee that most of the conservatives on this forum had a major wrinkle in their shorts during the W2 years...starting with the border and the weak stance on illegal immigration. Looking the other way and softly saying "stop" ain't gonna get the job done.

If you think Van Jones was bad - get ready for Cass Susstine (not sure if I've got that spelling right) he's up for appointment as the Regulatory Czar. Among his beliefs:
1- Animals have the right to sue humans.
2- Government can take your organs without your permission - ie. you are presumed to have consented to have donated your organs.
3- Rats or other vermin have "rights" and you cannot rid your home of them should it be infestated.
4- Ban all hunting
5- 2nd amendment rights don't exist to own handguns.
6-Government has the right to control population by forced abortion.
7-putting birth controlling chemicals in public water supplies.
Also heard that he would be on a "short list" to be the next Supreme Court appointee.....
Where is this country headed?

To the polls!
Vote the insanity out of office.
This is a wake up call for all those who don't/haven't voted in awhile.
No, the so-called czars aren't elected, but their bosses are...

We keep calling them Czars. Is this an official title? Wouldn't "Henchmen" be a little more appropriate?
Just wondering.
