The hot & cold is a good discription. Folks have either had great service or terrible. Only one I know that had it worse than me is Flintknapper.

Yeah, but thats about "par" for me. Also, it was quite a few years ago. In fairness to Kel-Tec I've heard mostly good reports concerning their customer service. Of course, the down side to that is: You shouldn't need to use Customer Service a whole lot. I don't care how nice they are (now), at some point...anyone would get tired of sending their pistol back for repair.

I am happy for those who have Kel-Tec products that perform reliably, and understanding of those who do not... (been there).

But please: Do not let my experience prevent you from trying their products.

I sent my little P-32 in for service and got it back in less than four (4) weeks. Great service.

Traded the gun, didn't trust the jhp from rimlockin' (a fault of the .32 ACP cartridge not the gun it's self.) for a K-T P-11. I kept it just under two weeks, and traded it in on an XD-45 ACP (+ a little  bootie  ), as the P-11 had just too much trigger pull for my fat fingers. I could get off one or two but ten--with that trigger pull; no way! I never even fired a round with it, just dry fired it three times and decided that just wasn't for me.

Now, I got me 2 XD's

Well, I can't complain about turn around time from Kel Tec; my P3AT is back (almost) from repair 2 weeks and 1 day turn around. Now if I can just catch the UPS driver I will get it and be able to see if the peoblem has been solved. I had expected it to be delivered requiring an adults signature, in actuality it came back requiringmy signatur specifically so my (adult) daughter could not sign for it. I am very anxious to see how it performs now.

That's great to hear. I have a P-11 I pocket carry on the weekends. I need to get more rounds thru it. Glad they took good care of you, let's hope the lil .32 fires right!
