I'm a newbie here too and a newbie for the CHL. So far in my life, I've only had one bang that should have been a click and it only made a hole in the baseboard lol. Well, I always aim for the baseborad when I click......

Hello from a new member.

Post by loosecannon »

I was pleased to find this forum which emphasizes safe, responsible gun ownership in the context of Texas firearms laws, particularly the carrying of concealed handguns by licensed persons.

For the past 50 years, I've been a serious student of shooting with a strong interest in pistols and revolvers. I look forward to joining the discussions.

Welcome loosecannon! I am in agreement with your statement about the Forum. Mr. Cotton has done a great job to keep it this way and always a pleasure to come learn.

From the tone of your post I think think you may be a really good cannon to have around.
Thank you for the above & all we will hear in the future.

Glad to be aboard.

Thank you, Longtooth;
My Taurus is also a Model 85. I hope to have good stuff to offer the group on occasion, as I listen alot, learn, and become more proficient at the craft. I put 50 rounds through my Bersa this morning, and hope to shoot some more tomorrow. I've read and respect the board guidelines, and am glad to participate. Thanks.

Welcome home, tsteven1. You made a wheel-gun connection with LT, so you're in like Flint. ;-)

Oh, wait. Flint may think I'm talking about him. Nobody could be like you, Flint. I meant that as in the old saw, "In like Flint." They even made a strange movie in the '60s. Not that you're an old saw...

Aw heck. Welcome, tsteven1. I'm gettin' outta here before I dig any deeper holes for myself... :grin:
