This is so true.
I will no longer "target shoot" , I will practice real world scenario shooting.

NICELY DONE USA1!

I am taking an Air Force officer to the range tom. to teach him some proper shooting techniques. It would help if I could show him something like that from my gun!

Again Nicely done!

Yes , I was also aiming for the pelvis.
So, there's the "double tap drill", the "Mozambique drill", and now the "neuter drill" ?

If the movie "Dirty Harry" were made today, the famous line would be "... but since this here's a .44 Magnum, the most powerful handgun in the world, and would blow your twig and berries off the tree, you gotta ask yourself one question: Do I feel lucky? Well do ya, punk? "

I hung it up on the door that leads from the garage to the kitchen.
My son got a good startle when he came home from school to find a man pointing a gun at him. :evil2:

My wife thinks I should leave it as a warning to potential intruders.

Did you buy the target at the range? (obviously without the holes!....although....maybe not! "rlol" )

I like this target better than the bandido ones that Marksmen have. Although they do have a one with a BG holding a damsel as a hostage that could be pretty interesting to shoot at....and avoid killing the hostage.

One time at the range a couple of shooters had one at 3 yards and wiped out the hostage with the very first shot!  I passed comment to my good lady that if ever I was being held hostage to not let them rescue me! :smilelol5:

Yes , one target is included with the lane . You can purchase additional ones also.
They have several to choose from , but this particular one shows the holes better since the picture is dark.

They also have a Zombie , a Terrorist , and other more standard silhouettes.

On a serious note ,just to clarify , there was discussion here about aiming for the pelvic region to disable
an advancing threat. That's what I had in mind while at my shooting session .

Yeah, I got that. I just couldn't resist the joke. In all seriousness though, for my money, I'll aim for center of mass — not on the theory that a pelvic shot isn't effective, but on the probability that my own thinking ability may not be that sophisticated in an actual shooting. I'll place the sites in the center of mass, pull the trigger, and keep pulling it repeatedly until the threat is over. I don't think I would have the confidence to place an aimed shot at the pelvis unless I was shooting from behind cover.

Another thing to think about... shooting a man in the pelvis may put him down, but it may not take him out of the fight... and if he still has a gun...

I'm just sayin'.
