Other cities like Chicago have imposed similar rules on pubic housing projects..Not that it really deters the criminals from keeping them and using them..

Do NOT do things that hurt the health, safety, and peace of other residents, CHA employees, or anyone else. For example, you must NOT attack anyone physically, speak to someone in a harmful way, or abuse the use of alcohol
Do NOT involve yourself in any drug-related activity. For example, you must NOT make, sell, deliver, use, keep, or possess any illegal drug
Do NOT show, keep, or use any type of gun or other weapon, unless it is required by your lawful job. For example, policemen and certain types of security guards are required to carry weapons
Do NOT threaten anyone with any kind of weapon
Do NOT cause a fire on CHA property, either on purpose or because of carelessness
Keep noise to a minimum, this includes playing loud music
