Sometimes they do, but I wouldn't think enough for them not to figure it out during a forensics examination. I have a lovely scar across my left thumb from a power saw that happened after my fingerprinting form my military clearance and before the DOD contractor prints for a new clearance much later.

Major advances in the medical field are happening all the time. And we are all getting older. They require new photos and fingerprints in case you have had head or hand transplants.

Well, the picture I understand. In fact, my picture looks absolutely horrible. Taken against a white background, it made my "off-white" hair completely disappear. I look like a freak with a somewhat dented head where the hair is around my temples, and a receding hairline making me look almost like a cone-head! Barely recognizable as human. I thought SURE they would reject the pictures -- but they didn't. My driver's license picture is against a blue background and is FAR superior.
As for the fingerprints, I think I'll have my fingerprints transplanted so that I can shuffle the prints around to different fingers between each renewal. That'll confuse them!

Now that made me laugh out loud!!!

Assuming that Digital prints become required for more than just CHL then the demand would go up and you would assume that the supply would follow - unless the Govt decides to meddle more in the process

I had my prints done at F.A.S.T. and it was "fast" cheap and easy.
The cost was $9.95 , i was in and out of their office in about 20 minutes. But I do live in Houston where they have several locations available.
