CougarTX said "This system makes the felt recoil very light for both the 9mm and the .40 S&W versions."

I agree it is designed to reduce recoil, but the recoil was the reason I sold both of my PX4s. Both chambered in 9mm. My fiance, Dad, and Mom all said the recoil was more than they liked and more than the G19, CZ75, or HK P30 also in 9mm. So I sold the two that I bought. I really didn't mind the recoil but others did.

Emailed Beretta about when the PX4 Compact would be available, this is the answer I received,
"We are in the process of obtaining the information and will post as much information as possible once we receive it." :banghead:

Enticing! Cabelas is giving a $40 on any NIB PX4 Storm. That amounts to 8.25% sales tax.
I have a Compact HK P30 and I wanted to get the PX4 SC as on the grab and go carry. Now, they released the compact version that holds 15+1 rds like my HK,

I am now not sure which one to get. At least, I can inspect and see for myself both versions at the nearest Academy.

Just do not tell my wife. Ah, wait a sec, the SC could be the ideal cc for her too ;)

bought one (9mm) this year and really like it - awaiting arrival this week of an iwb holster from ubg holsters to see how it carries - very nice design, craftmenship superb - hammer drop is nice - double action has enough pull to fell "safe" and the then single action is fast - being mostly italian myself, like the company too !!! thanks, ron
